Chad Sage

Chad Sage, husband to Dallas Sage and father to 11 month old daughter, Madelyn. Chad is the son of Pam and Craig Sage and brother to Kyle.

Chad is a 2006 graduate of Chestatee High School where he lettered in Varsity Football and Baseball his Sophomore, Junior and Senior years. Prior to his success at Chestatee, Chad played Varsity Football and Baseball his Freshman year at Rockdale County High School.

During his career in Baseball, Chad hit .518 his Senior year with 7 homeruns and was named Gainesville Times All Area player of the year in 2006. That same year, Chad was also named Gainesville Times Elite 11 and All Area Player in Football. Following his senior year, Chad played with Team Georgia and was selected to All-Tournament team with Team Georgia in Norman, Oklahoma and Top 80 Dugout Club.

Out of High School, Chad played Baseball at Ole Miss where he redshirted as a freshman. In 2008 he transferred to North Georgia University where he made Peach Belt All-Tournament team in 2008, 2009 and 2010. He was also named All Conference Player in 2010 and Preseason All-Conference Player in 2011 (sat out most of senior year due to an injury.) To this day, Chad holds the All-Time Home Run Leader title with 34 home runs in his career at North Georgia University.

After graduation, Chad pursued his career in teaching and coaching at West Hall High School. He became an Assistant Baseball Coach in 2013 and then was named to Head Coach in 2016.

Brad Hall

Brad Hall is the Director of Maintenance and Environmental Compliance at Clipper Petroleum, Inc. (Flowery Branch) and an Associate Broker at Southmark Properties, Inc. (Suwanee). He is married to Jessica Hall, a Nursing student at Brenau University.

Brad is a 2006 graduate of Duluth High School, where he lettered in Baseball 3 years. During his baseball career at Duluth, Brad hit .465 his senior year with 10 homeruns and was named to the Gwinnett County Super Six, Top 80 Dugout Club, Team Georgia and Gwinnett 1st Team All County in 2005 and 2006.

After High School, Brad signed with North Georgia University and played during the 2007,2009-2011 seasons. He was named to the Peach Belt All-Conference Team in 2009. Brad is 2nd all-time in career homeruns (30), 2nd all-time Fielding Percentage (.989) and 5th in all time RBI's (160). Brad graduated from UNG with a degree in Business Management and has since also earned his Associate Brokers license in Real Estate.

Brad is entering his second year as Assistant Varsity Coach.

Brannon Humphries

​Brannon Humphries is a health and weight training teacher at WHMS. Brannon is originally from Habersham County and currently resides in Gainesville. He is married to Samantha Humphries, a teacher for Gainesville City. 


During his time in highschool, Brannon played for the Greater Gwinnett Barons and for Team Elite. He proceeded to play baseball in college at Chattahoochee Valley Community College and Piedmont College.

He formerly coached high level travel baseball with Team Elite for 3 and 1/2 years prior to joining the WHHS baseball program. Brannon is entering his second year with the team as the Varsity pitching coach. He is also the Head Wrestling Coach at West Hall Middle School.

Jeff has been in education for 26 years. He is a native of Flowery Branch, GA. Jeff is the husband to former April Cansler of Flowery Branch and father to Jeffrey in 11th grade, Clayton in 8th grade and Owen in 6th. He play college baseball at Piedmont College.

Coach Montgomery enters his 15th year coaching baseball and his third year being the head JV coach with the Spartans.  He coached football and baseball previously at Winder Barrow High School.

Coach Montgomery played two years of college football before graduating from Bowling Green State University with a bachelors in secondary education and minors in history, political science and psychology. Coach Montgomery also has his Masters of Science from Georgia Southern University. He teaches US History and Honors World History.

Coach Montgomery was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to coach three MLB draft picks while at Winder-Barrow High School in baseball with two being in the first round, and 24 college signees. Coach Montgomery is married to Danielle Montgomery an English teacher at Jefferson High School. The couple has a daughter Hazel June Montgomery who is 4 years old.
